Yes! There are a few conditions though. If you do meet the criteria (as determined by your GP), a Medicare rebate for Podiatry can be accessed under the CDM Program, which is the Chronic Disease Management Program (sometimes referred to as EPC or Team Care Arrangement).
The current Medicare rebate is $55.10 per consult, meaning you will save this amount from your home visit Podiatry service cost. Please note that there is a fee alongside this rebate to ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service.
The Medicare rebate applies only to the consultation fee, and any additional services will incur an out-of-pocket expense. For example, footwear modifications, orthotics and minor surgical procedures that may be recommended by your Podiatrist are not covered by Medicare.
